Scorn Substance Materials - Part 1

In 2020 i got contracted by Ebb Software to help them out with the material library for their horror adventure game Scorn. Working on this project was a lot of fun as the Beksinski and Giger inspired art style was right down my alley.
My work consisted mostly of creating fully fledged substances with a lot of exposed parameters and presets. I also made a bunch of useful tools and filters. This workflow provided the Ebb art team with many options and the flexibility to get the exact results that they had in mind. My substances were used as tiling materials for the levels as well as part of a layering workflow for the models inside Substance Painter.
The pictures in this gallery show some of the presets that i provided. They are not necessarely assets that ended up in the final game.
